Uniswap Labs Launches v4: Advanced DEX Protocol Now Live on Multiple Networks
In a latest development, Uniswap Labs has officially launched v4, the most advanced version of its decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol, which is accessible to a wide range of DeFi users. The update is now live on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Base, BNB Chain, Blast, World Chain, Avalanche, and Zora Network. Uniswap v4 introduces hooks, smart contract plugins that let developers customize liquidity pools, swaps, fees, and positions. The v4 version is the most cost-effective version of the protocol so far, with the creation of new liquidity pools being 99.99% cheaper than in previous versions. Additionally, security was a top focus for Uniswap v4.
