Agentic AI workflow automation startup FileAI launches in public access

AI Agentic AI workflow automation startup FileAI launches in public access FileAI says it’s ready to supercharge workflow automation across the accounting, data collection, financial services, legal and insurance industries with a new agentic artificial intelligence platform that it says is capable of automating hundreds of manual and repetitive tasks. The startup, officially known as Bluesheets Pte Ltd., has developed an agentic AI platform that’s geared toward collecting and understanding business data across various file types, including disconnected databases, unstructured formats and siloed systems. It brings this data together to make better sense of it and turbocharge automation. FileAI co-founder and Chief Executive Christian Schneider said it’s vital to be able to understand and combine these disparate data types, because up to 90% of the average business’s content is unstructured, spread across PDFs, Excel files, Word documents, email systems, online sources and so on. Because this data is so disconnected, it becomes a major hurdle for business automation. FileAI solves this by transforming this fragmented information into clean, verifiable and structured data that AI agents can understand. “Our focus has always been on the foundation – delivering the cleanest, most accurate data possible so AI workflows actually deliver on their automation promise,” Schneider said. “We invoke deterministic behavior, remove hallucinations, add citations and verify each data point, superseding human accuracy. This isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a redefinition of what file intelligence can do.” FileAI’s platform is made up of multiple AI agents that combine to perform various business tasks, including an optical character recognition engine that’s able to parse, extract, classify and verify data access files such as contracts, invoices, financial statements and images, and a fetch and retrieve agent that’s able to locate and compare different file types and validate the information within them. The company has also built an AI-powered answer engine similar to ChatGPT, making it easy for employees to ask questions of their data files, and a secure document repository with robust access controls, from where any documents added can be analyzed for insights with AI. Finally, there’s a reasoning model that enables the creation of sophisticated AI data schemas that power work automations. The combined capabilities of FileAI’s platform power agents that can perform all kinds of work, such as claims processing, policy validation and regulatory reporting for insurance firms, and transaction validation, Know Your Customer checks, reconciliations and risk management for financial services customers. In the supply chain industry, its models can automate procurement and order management, while for legal teams it’s able to compare various legal clauses, review contracts and carry out compliance checks. Until now, FileAI has been operating under the radar with early adopters, but in the last year it has already created more than 400 million AI schemas for those customers, saving a combined 3.2 million hours of work and $60 million in processing costs. FileAI’s head of product and engineering Tim Prugar said the company’s momentum stems from the fact that organizations in the above industries are under mounting pressure to automate as much work as possible. “Instead of being held back by outdated processes and fragmented data, FileAI gives them the tools to access, structure and act on critical information to drive successful business outcomes,” he said.
