Liverpool want £15m for England under-21 star

The Reds have spent around £200m so far this summer - meaning the focus now is very much on outgoings. The squad will look very different by the time the 2025/26 season kicks off for the Premier League champions. The homegrown 22-year-old was a star for England in their recent UEFA Euro under-21 Championship win but his club future is very much in doubt. Last season was tipped to be a breakthrough campaign for the midfielder but he could not force his way into Arne Slot’s plans. Worse was to come when he suffered injury. He has been suggested as a summer sale - with the club having entertained bids last year too. Back then it was estimated that Morton would go for around £20m but with one year less on his contract - and a frustrating season behind him - he is unlikely to fetch that much this time around. The same report states that West Ham have got their eye on Morton as Graham Potter plots an overhaul of his squad.
