Elon Musk's Team Aims to Enhance Government EfficiencyAccording to Odaily, the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), co-led by Elon Musk, is planning to embed staff within government agencies to spearhead cost-cutting initiatives. Sources indicate that after President-elect Trump assumes office on January 20, most major government agencies will host two representatives from DOGE. Those not deployed directly to agencies will be assigned to the U.S. Digital Service, a White House branch providing IT consultancy to federal agencies. Additionally, DOGE may establish an office within the White House Office of Management and Budget, which is responsible for preparing the President's budget proposal to Congress.
