Bitcoin Surpasses $66,000; Akash Network, Core Among Top Gainers
Bitcoin BTC/USD edged higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $66,000 level on Tuesday. Ethereum ETH/USD, however, moved lower, trading below the key $3,200 mark this morning. Akash Network AKT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Ethena ENA/USD turned out to be the biggest loser. At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $2.43 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.2%. BTC was trading higher by 0.2% at $66,162 while ETH fell by around 0.9% to $3,178 on Tuesday.
