Bitcoin Tops $66,000 Following Jobless Claims Data; Ethena Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $66,000 level on Thursday. Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading above the key $3,300 mark this morning. Ethena ENA/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Core CORE/USD turned out to be the biggest loser. U.S. jobless claims rose by 11,000 from the previous week’s revised reading to 221,000 on March, the most in two months. At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $2.51 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.6%. BTC was trading higher by 0.7% at $66,171 while ETH rose by around 1.1% to $3,336 on Thursday.
